Privacy notice

Who is responsible for your information

The controller of personal information collected through this website is Finance Delta Ltd, trading as Deposit Release Bonds. You can contact us about privacy at hello@depositreleasebonds.com.

What we collect

  • Details you give us in forms and emails - your name, company, role, email address and phone number.
  • Information about a development and the business behind it, which may include financial information and details of people giving guarantees or indemnities.
  • Technical information - the IP address a form is sent from, kept with the enquiry for security.
  • Analytics data about how the site is used, unless you opt out.

How we use it and why

  • To respond to your enquiry and give indicative terms - steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • To arrange and administer a bond - performing our contract with you.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it - our legitimate interest. You can opt out at any time on our cookie policy page.

Who we share it with

  • Specialist intermediaries and insurers, when you ask us to obtain terms or arrange a bond.
  • Professional advisers such as solicitors and accountants, where needed.
  • Service providers who host our website and email, under contract and only on our instructions.
  • Regulators and other authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are kept for five years, in line with our anti-money laundering record keeping, and then deleted. Where a bond is arranged, we keep records for as long as the bond is in force and for the period afterwards that our legal and regulatory obligations require.
